There are no classes, no instructions, no pressure. Just you, a canvas, a glass in hand, and everything you need laid out in front of you. Paint her in whatever way feels right. Take it home. Keep it forever.

Scones with Nanna is a site specific play that allows the audience to immerse themselves in Nanna's story, as you travel through her house and a 100 years in time, while she descends into the shrinking world of dementia. The play focuses on family, loss, connection and truth telling. Nanna, a victim of the 1905 Aboriginal Act, interacts with the audience and shares memories and advice with her granddaughters. After each performance, there is a Q+A and debrief session with the cast.
