The Zonta Club of Kyneton will celebrate International Women’s Day 2026 at their annual fundraising dinner on Wednesday, 4th March 2026. This year, the UN Women in Australia’s theme is “Balance the Scales”, highlighting the urgent need to ensure fair, inclusive, and accessible justice for every woman and girl. Our guest speaker this year is the truly inspiring Sarah Barnbrook, who was awarded Volunteer of the Year and honoured for Youth Impact, at the Women Changing the World Global Awards, held in London in 2025. Sarah is an international advocate for digital safety, ethical technology, and the prevention of technology-facilitated gender-based violence. As the Founder of the charity Away From Keyboard (AFK) Inc. and an accredited UN delegate, she works globally to strengthen protections for women and girls facing online harm, coercive control, and digital abuse. We will be running our silent auction and raffle, with the support of so many of our local businesses and sponsors. The funds raised provide us with the opportunity to assist women and girls locally and globally - to build a better world for the future.

Get hands-on by dressing up as your favourite bug, and even meet some real live minibeasts up close! Ages 3-5 years. This special Storytime is presented by the Discovery Science & Technology Centre in Bendigo and includes hands-on, interactive activities that foster your child's literacy and STEM skills. Supported by the Dept of Industry, Science and Resources.
