Explore the vibrant event scene and make the most of your time in Kyneton. From education to mindfulness and more, we have the biggest event range and best discovery experience, there's something for everyone.

The Simba Sessions is a monthly music and poetry night curated around a theme, and a small growing community drawn together by stories and the arts. We build community and seek to hold safe spaces. Here we nurture and celebrate the creative spirit understanding that the stories that lay behind the art are often as powerful as the art itself. Join us for a ‘quiet night in’ to explore our stories in poetry and song in candle-lit, wine-soaked warmth. It’s always special and unique! Theme: TBA Come Heavy Sleep are an original duo del molto espressivo who, compose and perform folk noir music. Amongst their balladry and meditative improvisation, you'll hear cello, dobro, and voice all coalesce to give weathered flesh to rustic songs about old times and alone times. It is the music of empty country at dusk and a wine in the dark Shyaire (which aptly translates to poetry in Hindi) isn’t just a writer; she’s a poet, spoken word artist, and stand-up comic. Shy’s journey in slam poetry has taken her to the stages of Dubai, Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, Madrid and Melbourne. Her poetry has been published in ‘Chaotic Musings’ and can be found on Amazon and in her critically-acclaimed piece ‘In Defiance of Darls’ calling out racist and sexist cliches in advertising can be found in Mavens Mag Vol 2. She MCs poetry gigs like UNESCO’s Slam-O-Vision, Vibe Union’s Poets For Palestine, and The Hate Race at the Malthouse. Her poetry and performances features a mix of personal heartbreak and social commentary. The Apple Johns, are a charming, witty and understated folk duo from Naam. self described as “2 blokes, 2 guitars, original folk songs & some stories thrown in for good measure,” The Apple Johns are the type of solid local favourites that might appear at all the best Indi folk venues in Melbourne inner North. Sure to bring a smile to your faces as a tear to your eye, these two old friends of Simba are returning and bound to steal your heart before their set is done.

Join us for a deeply relaxing and restorative sound bath at Mana Temple in Kyneton. Be immersed in the soothing sounds of Tibetan Bowls, Crystal Singing Bowls and Gongs for a 60 minute healing journey. Stephen will take you through some guided meditation to settle you into the space and then work to immerse you in the beautiful and ancient sounds of his instruments. Participating in sound baths or sound healing within a group setting is particularly powerful, because the intention for healing is amplified. There is growing evidence to suggest sound healing can assist with sleep problems, anxiety and depression, trauma release and PTSD as well as general relaxation and self-care. It benefits everyone and its effects can last for days or weeks! Please bring your own pillow to this event. Under 18's are able to join if accompanied with an adult, children's tickets are charged at half price. There is no lower age limit but please ensure your child is old enough to rest and remain silent for the entirety of the session. We look forward to welcoming you into this warm and inviting space to share this beautiful restorative experience!
