March still delivers those long, golden evenings — so we’re leaning in. From 5.00pm the deck shifts into sunset mode. Vines lit up in late summer light, the river flats glowing, music humming quietly in the background and a glass of Lightfoot in hand. It’s the kind of Friday that rolls gently into night without you noticing. The Long Paddock will be on food, bringing their produce-led, generous plates designed for grazing and sharing. Thoughtful, seasonal and perfectly matched to what’s in your glass. We’ll be pouring across the range, so you can settle into a favourite or explore something new as the sky changes colour and the temperature softens. It’s relaxed, open-air and built around that view we’re lucky enough to call home. A return bus is available for $15 per person, travelling to Wy Yung, Bairnsdale and Paynesville — so you can enjoy the evening and leave the driving to someone else.
