BMCA Productions present 'Mary Poppins Jr'. The jack-of-all trades, Bert, introduces us to England in 1910 and the troubled Banks family. Young Jane and Michael have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense, she must teach the family members how to value each other again. Mary Poppins takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael aren't the only ones upon whom she has a profound effect. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or two from the nanny who advises that 'Anything can happen if you let it.'

A fun and inclusive way to improve your fitness, build your confidence and release your inner diva! Aunty Banana welcomes you to her shiny palace of disco divas, rock legends, casual crooners and pop princes & princesses! Lip Sync Workouts are a fun and easy way to get moving, learn some performance skills and build your confidence in an inclusive group setting. Each week we'll have a different theme for the workouts and step-by-step instructions on how to bring forth your inner superstar. No prior experience is required - just come and get into the groove with a bunch of other bananas who like to shake their money makers. Please note that some of the songs do include adult themes and coarse language - it is for this reason that we have an age restriction on attendance. If you're developing a character for drag, cabaret or burlesque performance please feel free to come in costume or character and bring props that you might wish to use, such as fans or canes. The venue is wheelchair and mobility aid accessible and support workers/ carers are able to attend for free - please contact auntybananalipsync@gmail.com to arrange for their ticket. You do not have to use this booking system as we accept cash or PayId payments at the door, but there are limited spaces available for each class, so please contact us if you wish to reserve a place but pay at the door. Guided by a troupe of mischievous and manipulative performers, he experiments with everything from the thrill of battle to the simplicity of country living, but nothing seems to bring him lasting happiness. As Pippin is drawn toward increasingly daring choices, he continues his search for meaning, love, and purpose. With one final, dazzling act ahead, he must decide what truly makes a life extraordinary. Our talented students have been working tirelessly to bring this show to life. Don’t miss the chance to support them and experience an evening of outstanding theatre.

Plus a chance to share what we have learnt & a performance with Geoffrey Williams on Sunday 3.30pm - 4.30pm. We will gather for dinner at the local pub on Saturday night (dinner not included in ticket). No experience needed – just bring your voice and prepare to harmonise!
