All Events in Coffin Bay

2 Pot Creative welcomes you to make a bespoke coastal pottery dish down on the beach to shape your piece on the rocks. During a 2hr session you will be guided through the process to create and produce your very own functional and decorative dish. Hand building pottery techniques such as slab rolling and hand pressing will be used during your time in the studio and across the road at the beach. You will be provided with all the necessary tools and materials so you can focus on enjoying the experience without any pressure. Personalised guidance will be provided to help you create a beautiful dish that oozes a coastal vibe. Whether your looking for a new way to be creative, relieve stress or just enjoy a fun activity within a positive space and out in the great outdoors, this pottery session will be good for your soul. Once your clay creation is checked and allowed to dry it will go through it's first bisque firing, followed by hand glaze application and a glaze firing. This process can take between 4-6 weeks, you'll be notified for collection of your pottery. Please be aware some pottery pieces can break despite my best efforts to prevent issues during the finishing processes. I will do my utmost to ensure a successful outcome, however I'm unable to offer refunds for pieces that crack naturally due to the drying, firing and glazing processes.
