Bookshop for a fascinating night exploring the hidden wonders of our oceans. Lawrence is passionate about documenting the lesser-known creatures of the ocean and capturing the beauty and fragility of marine ecosystems. Having studied at James Cook University right here in Townsville, his work is deeply connected to the Great Barrier Reef and our local region. This is a truly special opportunity to hear from a local creative and scientist whose work shines a light on the magic beneath the surface.
Applicants for a new Queensland Firearms Licence or adding another Category to an existing licence, must successfully complete an approved course in Firearm Safety (11029NAT) within the 12-month period ahead of the date they wish to lodge their application. The courses we offer meet the requirements for obtaining a QLD Firearms Weapons Licence. Our Firearms Safety Course comprises of: Section 1 (Common Safety unit) and the Elective for each specific Category E.g. Category A & B firearms or Category H. We are also able to provide firearms safety training for other categories including C and D upon request. The courses deal with knowledge, conduct, and best practices needed to use a firearm safely, responsibly and legally. They include the technology of firearms and ammunition, safe handling and safe use of firearms, storage requirements, legal and social responsibilities of shooters, and practical shooting. Upon completion, a Statement of Attainment will be sent from SSAA State office, valid for 12 months from date of issue, to be used in your application for a QLD Weapons Licence application.
