At Life Drawing Sessions our focus is not on the outcome of your drawing, rather it is about the process of giving into the act of creating with music and muse. This event embraces people of all drawing levels from novice to maestro. All materials are included in your ticket just book in and turn up. Bookings Essential. Life Drawing Sessions is held at the Miami Marketta on the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the Month. Doors open at 6:00 pm, session runs 6:30-9:00 pm Please arrive before 6:30 pm so we can start on time. MATERIALS PROVIDED (However you’re welcome to bring your own): Butchers paper, A3 & A4 Drawing Cartridge Paper 2B & 4B Pencils Oil Pastels Fine liner pens Charcoal Textas We kindly ask that you switch your phone on silent and do not use it during the session out of respect and for the privacy of our life models. BOOKINGS ESSENTIAL - LIMITED TICKETS AVAILABLE ** TICKET T&CS - Tickets are able to be exchanged or refunded up to 24 hours before the session. Anything after that is up to the ticket holder to either resell, gift or forfeit their ticket. This week, House of Spirits offers a special evening of Homecoming Ceremony. In many initiatic traditions, a rite of passage is only truly complete when the traveler returns home and shares the story of the journey with community. This sacred act of being witnessed allows transformation to take root, not only within the individual, but within the collective. Rafael from Man2Man / Gaia Soul will begin the evening by introducing the meaning, structure, and importance of Homecoming as a sacred return, a ceremonial space where transformation is acknowledged, embodied, and witnessed. From there, Rafael will guide the group through an embodied process designed to support self-inquiry, transformation, and deeper connection with your soul purpose. As the space opens, the evening will then move into Rafael’s personal Homecoming storytelling, marking the completion of a profound seven-year soul initiation. Through honest testimony, he will share the path he has walked, the challenges, the breakthroughs, and the gold gathered along the way. This will be followed by a council space for reflection, questions, and shared presence, creating an opportunity for deeper witnessing and communal insight. The night will then continue with Fernando Pepe & Nanda through rapé ceremony. This gathering is an invitation to return, to remember, and to reconnect with the deeper path of your own soul through story, embodiment, and sacred community.

As part of the Australian Heritage Festival, join us for a welcoming and reflective community gathering celebrating the stories that have shaped life on the Gold Coast. This session invites attendees to share their Gold Coast memories — from childhood beaches and changing neighbourhoods to first jobs and family traditions. Through guided conversation prompts, we’ll spark discussion about how the city has grown, what we’ve gained, what we’ve experienced and the moments that have stayed with us. Whether you’ve lived here your whole life or arrived more recently, your experiences are part of our shared heritage. You’re invited to bring along photographs, memorabilia or keepsakes to share if you wish. Come along to listen, reminisce and share your Gold Coast story.
