Click the link in the description to secure your spot in this immersive full day workshop where participants unpack their creative practice. Calling all artists, creatives, curators, gallerists and makers! Is your practice feeling unfocused or in need of fresh direction? Are you ready to define your career more clearly, strengthen your concepts, and develop ideas with purpose? Or perhaps you’re seeking practical guidance to move your work from concept to presentation? Central Highlands Regional Council and Flying Arts Alliance are excited to present a full-day intensive professional development workshop with Louise King — an experienced regional arts leader, creative producer and festival director. In this immersive workshop, you will work closely with Louise to explore the full lifecycle of creative work: from generating and refining ideas, through making and collaboration, to building partnerships, developing support, selling work, and presenting across galleries, artist studios, pop-up spaces, festival programs and touring contexts. Through guided discussion, peer pod sessions, interactive exploration stations and shared case studies, participants will unpack a challenge common to all creatives: how to present work with clarity, engage supporters, attract audiences, and build meaningful connection with their practice — both within their community and online.
This seminar will equip healthcare professionals with practical knowledge and tools to enhance dementia care, with a particular focus on allied health collaboration with geriatricians and general practitioners, and implementation of current best practice in regional settings.

Queensland Small Business Month celebrates the vital role small businesses play in building Queensland’s economy and communities. Join us for a celebratory lunch as we recognise the small and family businesses that power Queensland’s economy, enrich our communities, and help our region thrive. Guests will enjoy a delicious lunch alongside live music from a local performer, creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages conversation, networking, and connection. We’re excited to welcome Angela Kettle, CEO and Founder of Country Allure, host of The Confident CEO podcast and 2025 CHDC Business Excellence Hall of Fame inductee, as our keynote speaker. Angela will share her insights on what it takes to build a business from regional Queensland - and why brand matters. She’ll explore the impact of growing a strong business brand, the role of community in that journey, and how developing a personal brand alongside your business can shape long‑term success. Whether you’re a start-up, an established business, or simply passionate about supporting local enterprise, this event is a chance to celebrate success, gain inspiration, and connect with others who understand the unique opportunities of doing business in the Central Highlands.
