DANCING FREEDOM under a Full Moon - Honouring Samhain - Mugwort/Rose Ceremony with Libby Lee, Conscious Dance and optional Grief Ritual with Sara-Jane Cleland. Samhain is an ancient Celtic festival that falls midway between the Autumn Equinox and the Winter Solstice, marking a turning point as we enter the darker half of the year. It is traditionally understood as a time when the veil between worlds is thin—a liminal space where connection to the unseen feels closer. This is a time to gather in remembrance of our ancestors, to honour our grief, and to tend to what has been lost and carried.
Join head gardener, Nicholas Robinson, for a one-hour tour of Golden Vale’s Edwardian Garden, a viewing of the Homestead and light lunch. Travel through time as Nicholas Robinson takes you to the less seen corners of this stunning garden and shares his passion for the plants, the legacy they represent and the incredible transformation this garden has experienced since the 1860s. Learn about the rare and distinguished plants and their unique histories including the hanging tree, the tree of life and Royal oaks. After the tour, the stunning Georgian Homestead will open for viewing and a light lunch will be served for you to enjoy in the picturesque surrounds of Golden Vale.
