Join us for a relaxing three weeks of watercolour painting inspired by the beauty of Lake Illawarra. Explore the beauty and diversity of our local jewel Lake Illawarra in this three week watercolour series. We'll be working with a variety of techniques to captures the different moods of the lake. Our first week will focus on colour palettes and techniques. There will be a one week break and then we'll focus on a different lakescape each week through supplied images or your own captures.
Get ready to mix up your own beats and create a rhythm masterpiece in this fun, hands-on workshop series. This term we will have some fun integrating different percussive instruments into our drum rhythm repertoire. Learn foundation techniques and rhythms on the darbuka and how to jazz them up with some different layers of sound through fancy fingers and layering. Play with dof (frame drum), riq (Egyptian tambourine), and sagat (zills or finger cymbals) in our live class to create a rhythm mosaic!
