Art Events in Lismore

Evolve takes you on a journey in self discovery. Give yourself the gift of self discovery through creativity in this six week course with Rin and Gemma. This 6-week program is designed for women with an inquisitive mind. Each week we will investigate different parts of our inner selves such as our inner wisdom, inner critic, and our body speak. The creative processes used in this therapeutic series of workshops include the use of paint, crafting, collage, drawing and movement in a safe and inclusive space. Through creative exploration, reflection and connection you are invited to slow down, reconnect with yourself and explore creativity as a source of wellbeing and empowerment. No prior experience required. All materials supplied. Tea and coffee provided. Mondays 10am till 12pm. Commencing on Monday the 27th April till the 1st of June at 10 County Lane, Lismore, NSW. Week 1 - 27 April - Ground Control. Week 2 - 4 May - Inner Critic. Week 3 - 11 May - The Protector. Week 4 - 18 May - Muse/Creative Self. Week 5 - 25 May - Body Voice. Week 6 - 1 June - Wise Woman. Each woman attending will be given an art journal for the journey. All materials provided. Please bring your water bottles and wear clothes that you don't mind getting paint on. Some old comfortable clothes are perfect. Wear comfortable shoes too as we will not always be sitting down. Gemma and Rin look forward to going on this journey with you.
