Merge Dating is having another Newcastle Singles walk! This time we’ll kick things off with check-in at the front of Carrington Bowling Club, before heading off on a relaxed, social walk along sealed footpaths. The walk is around 4 km, taking approximately 60–90 minutes at an easy, social pace. We’ll follow a scenic waterfront loop through Carrington and Maryville, with river views and a few light icebreaker moments along the way. Once we finish, you’re welcome to hang around nearby for a drink if you like — optional and not part of the event. Everyone’s single and here to meet someone real. Not speed dating — just a chilled morning stroll with singles – outside the bar setting! Mini icebreaker stops + light group rotations. Friendly hosts to keep things moving and help with intros. Suitable for all ages – we are selling tickets for over 35 and under 35 so we can manage the ratios! Free bottled water provided.

Our popular finger crocheted rag rug workshop is back! Learn how to turn old T-shirts into a new rug. Suitable for adults and kids (8+ years old, with under 10 years to be accompanied by an assisting adult at no extra charge), so a great one to do with your kids. You'll learn how to cut a T-shirt into continuous yarn, as well as make your own rag rug. All materials are provided, including your starter rug (10cm beginning of your rug), a ball of T-shirt yarn and 5 extra T-shirts. Extended workshop length (now 3 hours) for the same price!
