Join us on the 21st of April for a beer appreciation night with special guest Nic Sandery from Molly Rose! Nic Sandery, the founder of Molly Rose brewery, last joined us for Ale Stars back in 2018. Since then, lots has changed for both Molly Rose Brewery, and the beer industry as a whole! It is safe to say Nic has a plethora of experience and knowledge in the scene. Travelling the world for beer inspiration, studying a diploma of brewing in Perth, dipping his toes into the winery scene, and working as a brewer at craft beer giants such as Holgate. Since the first beers hit the shelves in 2016, and the brewpub opening in 2019, Molly Rose creates a harmonious experience at their Brewpub for beer fans and the wider local community. With their brewpub's recent upgrades, as well as an exciting 'Beer of the Breweries' event on the horizon, there will be plenty of insight and great yarns to be had this April's Ale Stars!

Join us on April 17th from 4–6pm for a tasting with Erika from Alpha Box & Dice — back again after a great session in October, this time pouring a lineup perfect for the cooler months ahead. If you didn’t make it last time (or need a refresher), Alpha Box & Dice are a McLaren Vale–based winery on a mission to create an Alphabet of Wine — with each “letter” representing a different winemaking project. The end goal? A full A–Z collection that showcases the incredible diversity of South Australia’s wine regions, from McLaren Vale to the Adelaide Hills and Barossa. Since kicking off in 2008, they’ve built a name for doing things a little differently — championing alternative (especially Mediterranean) varieties and not being afraid to bend a few traditional rules along the way. The result is wines that are interesting, expressive, and very easy to enjoy. Under Head Winemaker Sam Berketa, the range continues to evolve, shaped by his experience working across Australia and overseas. The focus is always on making wines that are true to their fruit and environment — but also fresh, relevant, and seriously drinkable. This tasting will lean into styles that suit autumn and winter, so expect something a little deeper, a little richer, and just right for the season. Swing by, have a taste, and enjoy an afternoon of good wine and good company.

Join us while we showcase our latest coffee offering at Padre Coffee Brunswick East! Cupping is a professional practice used by roasters, traders and coffee producers, but it's something anyone who enjoys coffee can do - this includes absolute beginners all the way through to home baristas and industry professionals! Cupping is a great way to taste many different coffees side-by-side, and develop palate awareness. Although this is a free event, numbers will be capped at 10 to ensure everyone has adequate time with each coffee. Be sure to secure your spot as we will be unable to allow walk-ins on the day. Sign up now to get started! Plus get 15% off retail coffee voucher for attending any of our classes.

Think bold flavours, clever wine pairings and plenty of banter — all wrapped up in a seriously fun afternoon at Henry and the Fox. Feast on creative dishes by Executive Chef Malcolm Williams, who’s putting his own spin on a C-inspired menu packed with flavour and a little flair.
