Behold the wonders of Esoteric Sound Arts, accomplished through the Marvels of Modern Electrical Instruments! The Blue Mountains Void Observance League is honoured to welcome a visiting emissary, Systemet, travelling from the far Continents, to instruct the League in the Rites of the Eternal Drone. Systemet (Italy) deploys its sound through self-built portable synthesizers, often in natural environments such as mountaintops and riverbeds, or in urban non-places, contextualising its work through a psychogeographical practice. Since 2018, Systemet has toured Europe extensively across venues and festivals in the UK, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Italy, opening for acts including John Butcher, Bromp Treb, Khabat Abbas, Shitmat, and touring Italy with Dave Phillips. To receive the honour of the Eternal Drone, the Blue Mountains Void Observance League has re-established its drone ensemble: The Blue Mountains Void Observance League’s Officially Sanctioned Drone Ensemble. The Ensemble will feature Summoner-in-Chief Atavus Infectum, Wizard-in-Residence Mx Robert Frost, and Dungeon Master, Most Ominous Mystic. The Blue Mountains Void Observance League’s Officially Sanctioned Drone Ensemble will also invite local poets to share empty words of the Void during its working. Ancient Arts of Esoteric Sound Demonstration, reimagined with marvellous modern techniques, and now Open to the Public! Be astounded, this will be an event for the ages!
