This session focuses on applying foundational seating principles to support confident prescription, optimised postural alignment, and sustainable functional and pressure care outcomes. This intermediate-level workshop uses real-world case discussions to demonstrate clinical reasoning in achieving outcomes that meet client goals and best-practice seating principles. Participants will explore interpreting body segment angles, managing non-reducible postures, and optimising comfort, pressure care, and postural stability. Attendees will leave with practical tools and the confidence to deliver effective, person-centred wheelchair seating interventions.
Recovering from a work-related illness or injury can feel isolating, lonely and hard. But we can help with that! This free workshop led by life coach Megan Woods and psychologist Michael Quinn, provides a safe and encouraging environment to connect with others, share stories, and explore new interests and possibilities for yourself. The workshop (one of four running monthly between January and April 2026) explores creative options to gently re-charge your physical and sensory energy in ways that feel right to you while you’re on leave - or preparing to return to work – from work-related illness or injury.
