Maloya dance workshop by Katy Toave from Reunion Island. Maloya is a style of music and dance developed by enslaved and indentured people who were taken to Réunion island by French colonisers in the 17th century. It was banned by French authorities until the 1980s. Now listed as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage.
