Afro & Dancehall Music Fest lands this April at The Laneway — An open-air celebration of rhythm, culture and connection featuring local legends and international artists bringing the heat all day and into the night. Glitch Bill Madness will turn your quiet Sunday evening completely upside down with 4 improvised electronic acts likely to induce palpitations and discombobulate you into a trance-like fervour. Welcome to the church of noise and strangeness! Introducing Nik NaK(Sydney), Marlené Claudine Radice, UNKO, and Josh Shipton (Sydney) NIK NAK— live electronic music for people who suspect their toaster might be sentient. Expect glowing orbs, mysterious hand-waving, and sounds that seem to appear out of thin air. No laptops were harmed in the making of this performance — just a collection of odd, self-built instruments translating movement into bleeps, drones, pulses, and the occasional moment of accidental brilliance. Come watch a grown adult fling invisible shapes around the room and somehow call it music.
