Movemement is part of the fabric of human expression. Dance has been a form of celebration and storytelling for time immemorial. But in many music scenes, movement is being dampened and dance is being dissolved. We’re losing touch with how to use our bodies as a medium of self-expression. Movementum seeks to do something about that. In a time where we are feeling more disconnected and divided, Movementum brings us back to a common base, to share a dialogue in the universal language of dance. Movementum seeks to revive the d-floor, particularly in the club/rave scene, and invigorate a deeper appreciation for music and sound artists. Movementum creates a safe space to explore movement and to feel confident in dancing around other people again.
