Shop The Runway feature is back, for a chance to meet the makers, feel the fabrics, and snap up your favourite looks right after the show!
Join us at Canberra Museum and Gallery for an exclusive, expert-led architectural tour celebrating Enrico Taglietti’s iconic Canberra designs. Guided by architect, author, educator and Australian Architecture Association President, Tone Wheeler, this unique Heritage Festival experience will visit some iconic Taglietti buildings across the city. Tour participants will enjoy rare access to buildings normally closed to the public, and be immersed in Taglietti's distinctive use of space, material and light. The tour includes an Italian lunch at Agostinis and concludes with a curator-led tour of the Taglietti: Life in Design exhibition at CMAG.

Join us for our free Canberra and Region Heritage Festival glassblowing demonstration with artist Katie-Ann Houghton! This year's Heritage Festival celebrates mid-century innovation through studio glass, a field defined by experimentation and creativity. Visitors can watch live glassblowing demonstrations of mid-century inspired light fixtures, make their own slumped glass tealight holders in hands-on kilnforming workshops, or take a guided heritage tour and see parts of the old Kingston Powerhouse – usually off-limits to visitors. The Powerhouse opened in 1915 to provide coal fired electricity to the new city of Canberra. It was permanently decommissioned in 1957 and in 2007 the building was converted into the Canberra Glassworks, turning industrial heritage into a vibrant hub for contemporary craft. This demonstration provides an opportunity to observe contemporary glass practice in action within an active studio environment, revealing the timing, skill, and collaboration behind the finished work.
Enjoy an afternoon filled with colour and creative flow guided by painting artist Sophie Ryan. Surrounded by the beautiful art at Q Gallery in Ainslie Canberra.
