Find the best health events and make the most of your time next 30-days in Brisbane. From music to pets and more, we have the biggest event range and best discovery experience, there's something for everyone.

Emotions move through every moment of our day. Yet so often they’re suppressed, expressed reactively, or played out on autopilot — patterns that rarely lead to the outcomes we truly want. Learning to understand, express, and regulate our emotions is one of the most valuable skills we can cultivate, bringing greater clarity, resilience, and connection into every area of life. Whether you’re brand new to Yogic and Ayurvedic living or already familiar with practices, this workshop offers simple, intuitive ways to deepen your emotional understanding and strengthen your capacity for regulation — both for yourself and in your relationships. You’ll explore how emotions show up in the body, how they’re commonly expressed, how to recognise them as signals rather than burdens, and how to respond with wisdom and clarity. Throughout the day, we weave emotional awareness practices with the timeless teachings of Yoga and Ayurveda, bringing balance physically, emotionally, and spiritually. You’ll gain insight into your spiritual nature, the influences that shape your mental and emotional state, and the patterns that drive your responses. You’ll learn how emotions become suppressed, avoided, mislabeled, or expressed reactively — and how to instead meet them as invitations for growth. In recent years, there has been a powerful shift toward sustainable habit change — moving away from quick fixes and toward longterm, embodied transformation. This workshop reflects that shift. You’ll explore how emotional patterns form, how the nervous system shapes behaviour, and how small, consistent practices can create meaningful change. Through reflection, discussion, and guided exercises, you’ll explore frameworks for emotional intelligence, practise expressing feelings effectively, and discover how to move from awareness into action in a way that feels grounded, compassionate, and sustainable. You’ll also enjoy a cooking demonstration to support nourishing your body — and mind — recognising the profound impact food has on emotional wellbeing. The day concludes with a plan to move forward, followed by an OpenYourHeart meditation to release held tension and a guided Deep Peace practice — a perfect ending to leave you feeling renewed, grounded, and ready to move forward with clarity and inspiration.
