Perfect for adults and children alike, this workshop takes place during the Easter school holidays - and will finish with a fun Easter egg hunt for the kids.
Join us for the first Eco Market of the year on Saturday 11 April, where you will enjoy open-air eco-friendly markets in the beautiful native botanic garden surrounds at IndigiScapes! Explore eco-friendly activities, artisan market stalls, food vans, live music and more. There is something for everyone to enjoy. Celebrate all things local – from local businesses and locally-made creations to our naturally wonderful Redlands Coast environment.
Come on a hardcore clean up of Logan River thanks to a grant from Redland City Council. Come and join us for some hard yakka. We get deep in the mangroves to remove debris that people don't even know is there. You need gum boots or waders as it is muddy work, but it is rewarding. It's not for the feint hearted, this is hardcore as the name suggests.
Register now for QUPEX April Lunch. With the next wave of gas exploration and development on foot in Queensland, coupled with expansion of renewable energy and critical mineral exploration a continued community and coexistence is critical. This session explores what this experience has taught us about earning social licence, managing competing land uses and realising genuine community benefit and how we can leverage these insights to anticipate, adapt, and respond to shared opportunities and challenges – setting a stronger foundation for the state’s next phase of resources and energy development.
Get up close and discover the feathered, furry and scaly friends that live in our neighbourhoods. Join our wildlife expert for an engaging and immersive session in nature, where you'll meet your wild neighbours and some of Brisbane's most iconic animals.
Don’t miss this special opportunity for a family-friendly bushwalk with a difference, exploring Raven Street Reserve bushlands at twilight! Experience one of Brisbane’s treasured bushland reserves at the magical twilight hour.
Curious about what lies beneath the surface of your local creek? Join Wildlife Queensland, Resilient Rivers SEQ and Redland City Council for a community workshop sharing the results of the Spring 2025 regional environmental DNA project and a walk and talk along your local creek. This is your opportunity to learn what species are calling your local waterways home. Using cutting-edge eDNA technology, we can detect the presence of wildlife simply from water samples. This means we’re uncovering a hidden world of biodiversity — from turtles and fish to macroinvertebrates and even microscopic diatoms.
