Geelong Candlelight Vigil on Wednesday 6 May 2026. Courtney Ugle will share her story, her truth, and her dedication to building safer communities. Her voice offers a path toward healing, connection, and collective courage as we come together to honour those we have lost and stand united against family and domestic violence. Conor Pall, from Barwon Area Integrated Family Violence Committee, and Meli, from The Sexual Assault & Family Violence Centre, will also be present. There is no cost to attend but registration is essential. Please note this event will discuss and contain stories of family violence. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are advised that this event may contain images, voices or names of deceased persons. Counsellors will be available at the event to provide support.

Geelong Auslan Connect Family Lunch 🥗🤟 // Bring the whole family and enjoy good food, great company, and meaningful connection within our Auslan community 💛
Can’t attend our daytime Roving Respite? Join us for dinner instead. This special evening is designed for carers who are unable to attend our daytime Roving Respite events due to work, caring responsibilities, or other commitments. Join us for a relaxed dinner at Black Sheep Geelong, where you can take a well-deserved break, enjoy a delicious meal, connect with other carers who understand, and access light-touch support and information in a comfortable, welcoming setting.

Expect a sense of belonging, no judgement and good vibes at this special event — bringing our communities together to move, have fun, and raise vital funds for the McGrath Foundation. Their work supports breast cancer patients and their families through some of life’s most challenging moments and we’d love to support them with this fundraiser. We’ll start off with a fun Jungle Body dance fitness class that will be suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels. If you haven’t been to a Jungle Body class before you can expect mood enhancing music from various genres, exercise that doesn’t feel like exercise and moves that are simple and easy to follow. If there are any high impact moves then one of the instructors will be doing the low impact alternative so you always have someone to follow along. It’s all about moving and having fun.
