Each attendee will receive FREE criminal record reviews with an attorney, advice regarding eligibility for arrest removal and correction, expungement, and pardon, assistance with paperwork and filing court documents if eligible, information about rights related to employment and criminal records, advice for answering job application and interview questions about your background, and job leads & information about FREE career training opportunities. You must sign up through this online form and select a 30-minute timeframe for your consultation.
Running a business means wearing a lot of hats -- and some of them fit better than others. StartingBlock's Lunch & Learn: Tactical Skills Series is designed to help you wear them all a little better. This six-session professional development series runs April through September, bringing in local experts across the areas entrepreneurs need most: HR and employment law, contracts, marketing and positioning, sales, branding, and financial fundamentals. Each session runs from 12-1pm in StartingBlock's 2nd floor classroom -- meaning you can learn something genuinely useful and still have your afternoon.
During this class we will explore the settings on your Nikon camera and explore different controls and menu settings. This class is perfect if you just bought a Nikon or have had one for a while and want to know how to use it better. Key items covered include Automatic and scene modes, Focusing modes, Metering modes, White balance, Digital file types and resolution, and Camera accessories. The class is limited to 10 people.
