Explore the vibrant event scene and make the most of your time in Friday Harbor. From art to networking and more, we have the biggest event range and best discovery experience, there's something for everyone.

Get social and have fun while creating something beautiful by hand! In this fun and low-pressure class, we will be handbuilding our artwork, and the world is your oyster! You will learn some simple techniques for making a cup or bowl, and handbuilding a sculpture, and then you can make whatever you find exciting!
Trash to Treasure is our after school art program for elementary schoolers focused on creative reuse!
A process-focused art class for kids ages 4-6 in one space, and a class for parents in another space! Build community and make art!
Women are invited to come together and enjoy a simple lunch and good company. No need to bring anything but yourself and a friend!
Dye textiles brilliant shades of blue and learn how to cultivate your own indigo vat in this natural dye class.
The 14th Annual San Juan Islands Agricultural Summit takes place in-person at various locations around San Juan Island. The summit’s programming is rooted in your ideas and priorities. Whether exploring whole-systems approaches or diving into specific practices, techniques, and tools, the event aims to deepen our collective commitment to stewarding these lands in ways that support thriving ecosystems, communities, and individuals. We will also continue to center, throughout the summit, what it looks like to be in right-relationship with the original stewards of these lands, the Coast Salish Peoples.
Learn the cyanotype printing process, a non-silver alternative photography/printing technique originally developed to create blueprints! Cyanotype printing is a simple process that allows for lots of experimentation, and can be layered with other types of printmaking and photography processes to create intricate, dynamic images. We'll play with the different materials that can be printed on and create our own prints. We will learn about the different ways to make negatives, as well as contact printing with objects. Students will leave this workshop with prints to keep, as well as a zine explaining the steps in detail so they can make more at home!
