Technology Events in Bellingham

Learn how to safely operate the Makerspace laser. Each student will cut and engrave their own acrylic keychain. The Bellingham Makerspace's Laser Cutter is extremely powerful, versatile, and large. Members can use it to cut various flat materials and engrave dozens of others. This 1 Hour class teaches you how to safely operate our 120 Watt Epilog laser, what materials are recommended, and rules and regulations for doing it all safely. Each student will cut and engrave their own acrylic keychain. Makerspace members are approved to use the laser for personal projects after taking this class.
