Find the best environment events and make the most of your time in Anderson Island. With our biggest environment event range and best discovery experience, there's something for everyone.
Join us for a planting at our NLT South Oro Bay protected lands on Anderson Island. Join us for a morning work party at South Oro Bay on Anderson Island. We'll be planting Western red cedar and Sitka spruce trees to help restore our protected lands at this site. This is a 3-hour work party beginning at 9:00 AM and ending at 12:00 PM. Volunteers who do not live on Anderson Island should plan to catch the 8:20 am ferry out of Steilacoom, WA. We will conclude in time for attendees to line up for the 12:45 pm ferry. Once on the island, please plan to drive to the work site -- it is about a 10-minute drive from the ferry terminal. Register to receive driving directions to the worksite. We will be working rain or shine so dress appropriately for the weather. Tools, work gloves, water, and snacks will be provided. Thank you for helping us restore the Nisqually watershed! We hope to see you there.
