There will be multiple winners! Sip on delicious craft brews from Black Hoof Brewery, enjoy the lively atmosphere, and meet other plant lovers in the area! Whether you're a seasoned plant parent or a budding enthusiast, Plant Bingo is the perfect way to spend the evening.

The 2026 Leesburg Flower & Garden Festival will welcome attendees Saturday, April 18th 10am–6pm and Sunday, April 19th 10am–5pm. The festival is open to the public, FREE, and the celebration goes on rain or shine. The award-winning Leesburg Flower & Garden Festival has become an annual rite of spring for the Washington DC Metropolitan area. Transforming the streets of historic Downtown Leesburg, the festival showcases beautiful flowers, plants and landscaping along with the best of gardening and outdoor living products and services. The rooftop beer and wine garden, landscape display contest, three stages of entertainment, delicious festival food, and Garden Patch children's area mean there is something for everyone! Birch Tree Books & Plants will have a tent outside the shop and the shop will be open during the festival.

Come swap plants with us! For $15, bring up to 10 items to swap, whether they're plants, cuttings, or pots. Each ticket gets you a space to freely trade plants with other plant lovers while staff from Birch Tree give expert advice as well as potting and drainage hole drilling services free of charge. Don't feel like swapping? You can also bring your plants to get repotted and just hang out with plant people! This event will be held at the outdoor patio of our neighbors, Black Hoof Brewery. Upon arrival, you will receive papers to fill out with information about your plants or cuttings as well as a color coded tag to mark the tier level of your swap items based on their rarity or uniqueness. Tier 1: Easy win Tier 2: Good find Tier 3: Rare grab Set your items up with their information, sip on a craft brew from Black Hoof and find someone to swap with! We'll have a potting station set up with hand-mixed soil, nursery pots, and potting tools for all of your repotting needs. We'll also have a table of rare plants and other plant tools/accessories for sale.
