Legendary singer/songwriter, Bill Gaither and the Gaither Vocal Band are bringing the Then Came the Morning Tour 2026 to your city! For more than a half century, Gaither, a multiple Grammy and Dove award winner, has been a musical trailblazer. His reputation as a performer, songwriter and mentor for newly-discovered artists is known world-wide. His beloved series of Homecoming CDs and DVDs continues to top the sales charts and attract an ever-increasing audience. Taking the stage with the Gaither Vocal Band will be Chris Blue, Ladye Love Smith, Gene McDonald, and Kevin Williams. Operators and Technicians, enroll today and join us to familiarize yourself with Industrial Scientific Instruments and solutions. This detailed two-day training designed specifically for instrument end users & technicians. The comprehensive course offers a hands-on overview of operation, general maintenance, and technical servicing of Industrial Scientific Portable gas monitors. In addition, attendees will learn about determining the right monitor for the job, configuration and use of docking stations, connected safety through various wireless communication networks, and leveraging iNet to maximize the success of your gas detection program. This is a Technician Level Certification Course, upon completion both a written and practical test will be administered to evaluate competency. Consider including GDME-Fundamentals of Gas Detection. It is not required for enrollment in this course but it is a great compliment to the information we will cover. You may also be interested in our iNet Control User training. This free course is hosted monthly via Zoom.
The Spirax Sarco Steam Utilization course is intended to cover steam basics and efficient usage of steam as a cost effective conveyor of energy to space heating or process heating equipment. A thorough walkthrough of the entire steam system, including: generation, distribution, utilization, and recovery. Attendees view steam traps operating under varying system conditions in our live steam lab. A demonstration of a steam to hot water heat exchanger is shown to allow the viewing of both the efficient use of steam and removal of condensate from this typical process application. A brief introduction to condensate pumps is given covering electric and non-electric designs. Eight (8) Professional Development Hours (PDH) are given. This course is a strongly recommended pre-requisite for all other STM numbered courses.
The Spirax Sarco Steam System Design course is action packed with many participant exercises. It begins with the sizing of a complete steam distribution system for HVAC and process applications. This includes sizing of steam pipes, pressure reducing stations and control valves. Proper steam trap sizing and selection for various methods are practiced, as are methods to detect steam trap failure. Condensate removal and recovery are also discussed, as these play an important role in efficiently operating a plant. The participants work through exercises on sizing condensate return lines and flash lines. The concept of stall is discussed and practiced. Understand methods for sizing steam and condensate lines Demonstrate steam trap application, selection and sizing Understand stall and condensate removal Understand methods to select and size pumps Understand fundamentals of control valves (pressure reducing and temperature control) and sizing Eight (8) Professional Development Hours (PDH) are given STM100 is strongly recommended as a pre-requisite for this course
