As a business owner and employer, you are responsible for adhering to the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), which includes paying employees properly, maintaining certain records, understanding overtime provisions, providing eligible workers with unpaid family or medical leave, and notifying employees of their rights in the workplace. This session, presented by the U.S. Department of Labor-Wage and Hour Division, will provide participants with information on the importance of complying with regulations covered under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
