Participants will take a broad approach to exploring painting, the many different qualities of paint and some different approaches to painting. They will work with various elements of painting and composition such as color, texture, shape, and value, and combine those elements to create compositions. This will lead to a longer composition of number of smaller ones (student choice) in the last couple of days of the class.
