The Woods in Your Backyard program is designed for landowners who own 10 acres or less, and for the professionals who assist them. Participants will learn simple stewardship practices to maintain and improve small woodlots, including: Ecological Principles, Converting Lawn to Natural Areas, Managing for Wildlife in the Landscape, Natural Use Areas, Protecting and Enhancing Natural Areas, and Woodlot Management Techniques. Pre-registration is required.
