Celebrate World Tai Chi & Qigong Day at this beautiful park on the water. In honor of International Tai Chi & Qigong Day, join us at the beautiful Rose Larisa Memorial Park (aka Crescent Park). We will celebrate by practicing qigong under the trees overlooking the Providence River. Similar to tai chi, qigong was developed as a healing art. Most of the movements are done slowly while standing. This gentle yet powerful practice puts us in touch with our own vital energy (qi). Whether to naturally relieve pain, maintain wellbeing, or find deeper spiritual connection, qigong is beneficial.
