The compelling sequel to The Godfather, contrasting the life of Corleone father and son. Rocky (1976) stars Sylvester Stallone as Rocky Balboa, a small-time boxer who gets a shot at the world heavyweight title against Apollo Creed. With the guidance of Mickey Goldmill and the support of Adrian, Rocky's journey is both inspiring and heartfelt. Hard drinking, ex minor league hopeful Morris Buttermaker (Walter Matthau) grumpily agrees to coach a Little League team at the behest of lawyer councilman Bob Whitewood (Ben Piazza), who has a vendetta against the league for excluding his marginally talented son from play.
