Songwriters in the Raw is an in-the-round concert series curated and co-hosted by Jessica Smucker & Andrew Pauls. This month's featured performers are Dave Dersham (Western Massachusetts) and Stephen Clair (Hudson Valley, New York). Doors will open at 6:30. The show will start at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $15 in advance, and $20 at the door if not sold out. The event will be held in The Sanctuary at West Art. ADA accessible, and specific needs will be accommodated. The West Art CoffeeBar is open from 7am-10pm daily, offering a full menu and various beverages.
West Art Welcomes Rebecca Porter & The Rhinestone Roses w/ Roberta Faceplant! This is a show you can't miss, and tickets are expected to go fast, so get yours now! Doors will open at 6:30 pm. As always, we’re proud to present an all-ages show! Parking may be available in the small lot across the street. Beyond that, there’s parking available around Buchanan Park and F&M College in the blocks surrounding West Art. This will be a mostly standing show with limited seating available in City Hall. Our space is ADA accessible, and we will do our best to accommodate any specific needs. If you haven't yet discovered the magic of the Art Bar, now's your chance! We're open from 7 am-10 pm daily with a great menu of espresso drinks, your favorite boozy libations, and plenty of N/A options, along with some tasty bites from our favorite local bakeries. On April 18th, Earth Night arrives in Lancaster! Join an immersive performance & dance party experience where Earth’s essential elements will come to life through hypnotic visuals, original choreography, and electronic dance music. Earth Night is designed by the students from Pennsylvania College of Art & Design and the Academy of Live Technology. Choreography by Lauren Tait, Founder and Director of FRWRD Dance Company, and Emmanuel Williams, Founder of Luna Dance. DJs Silk Noir and Skii will pump orchestral and classical elements into electronic dance beats to keep you grooving. Founded eight years ago by DJs For Climate Action, Earth Night began with the bold idea that nightlife can inspire climate action. Since then, it has been celebrated around the world during the week of Earth Day, uniting artists and communities who believe music can be a powerful force for environmental change. All proceeds from the night will support the Lancaster Conservancy in its mission to protect local land, as well as DJs For Climate Action (DJs4CA), helping expand this global movement.
