TMJ (temporomandibular joint) massage techniques aim to alleviate discomfort and improve function in the jaw joint and surrounding muscles. These techniques typically involve gentle manipulation of the muscles around the jaw, face, and neck to release tension, increase circulation, and promote relaxation.

Introduction to Thai Table Massage offers 8 NCBTMB CEUs. The class will be held at The Wellness Institute of Chester County in Exton, PA on June 12th, 2026, from 9 am to 5 pm. The facilitator is from Chon Buri, Thailand, and has been trained at the ITM School in Chiang Mai.
Technique Thursday: Intro to Thai Massage / July 30, 2026 / $100 / 4 NCBTMB CEs
Advanced Cupping: ROM Static Cupping. This class will be held in 402F, please enter at the back of the building. You will see a set of double doors under an awning, enter through the glass door with the CE Classroom sign on it. Facilitator: Robyn Zappy/ WIofCC Acting Director. Cups will be placed on various areas of the body and then placed on the various muscle groups while moving through the range of motion. This will allow a deeper release of t stagnation and inflammation. This allows the client to experience a deeper release and relief from pain. We will be performing these techniques on various muscle groups on the upper and lower body, such as traps, rhomboids, lats, pectorals, quadratus lumborum, SI area, glute medius, hamstring, gastroc, soleus, tibialis anterior, quadriceps, TFL, biceps, triceps, upper traps, scalenes, SCM, wrist flexors and extensors. The student receives a 24-piece cupping set with the class.
In this class you will learn Thai yoga stretches that you can incorporate into your Swedish routing, adding another level of relaxation and repair to your client’s treatment. We will be learning how to drape properly to perform these movements. We will go over some history of Thai massage and how to protect yourself with proper body mechanics.
An introductory class to Deep Tissue Massage techniques provides students with a foundational understanding of how to work with the deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. This course covers the principles of applying slow, focused pressure to release chronic tension, improve mobility, and address areas of muscular restriction. Students will learn basic techniques such as stripping and friction, while also gaining awareness of proper body mechanics to protect themselves during treatment. Designed for beginners, the class emphasizes safety, client communication, and building confidence in applying deeper pressure effectively and comfortably.
