Students will learn to identify contraindications, practice proper draping, and develop correct holding and adjustment techniques. Emphasis is placed on body mechanics, safety, and professionalism, with a focus on prone and supine positions. Students will also be introduced to energy lines and will be able to perform an 85-minute Thai massage.
Sustaining the Healer: Self Care for Massage Therapists, a CE class for massage therapists focusing on self-care, energetic integrity, and trauma-informed practice, will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at The Wellness Institute of Chester County. The event offers 8 NCBTMB CEUs and is priced at $275. The instructor, Christian, brings over 30 years of experience as a Psychotherapist and LMT. Attendees should wear comfortable lab clothes. The event is scheduled for 2026, and refunds are available up to one day before the event.

Enjoy this dynamic continuing education course: 4 in1 Soft Tissue Techniques. We will be diving deep over the next two days discovering the why, how, and the intention of each tool: Cupping, GuaSha/IASTM, Taping, and Pin & Stretch. Certificates will be issued upon completion of the class/workshop.

Car seat checks are offered at West Whiteland Fire Company on the 3rd Wednesday of March, June, September, and December from 2pm to 6pm. Safe Kids Chester County provides car seat safety checks free of charge to families. These appointments are one-on-one, in-person with a certified car seat safety technician. Please come prepared to engage with the technician throughout the entire appointment. This is an educational fitting station, not an installation service.
