What's On in Abington Twp

The Montgomery County, PA Office of Public Health will be hosting a FREE Car Seat Check Event on May 21, 2026. Schedule a check with our team of certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians to make sure your children are riding safely. These appointments are one-on-one and in-person with a certified technician. Please come prepared to engage with the technician throughout the entire appointment. This is an educational fitting station, not an installation service. Please make sure to attempt installing the car seat yourself prior to arrival. Bring the car seat manual and vehicle owner's manual with you to your appointment. Car seat check events are free of charge. All parents and caregivers of young children riding in car seats or booster seats are encouraged to attend. Registration for this event is required. All questions and concerns can be directed to carseat@montgomerycountypa.gov. This event is made possible by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) Community Traffic Safety Project (CTSP) Grant.
