Find the best art events and make the most of your time tomorrow in Portland. From music to trivia and more, we have the biggest event range and best discovery experience, there's something for everyone.

Join us for a decadent evening exploring taboo topics and the seven deadly sins. Experience aerial, burlesque, and performance art with headliner Sademoiselle Florentine returning from Ashland, OR.

Join us for an immersive experience with 'On Cinema Live'! This unique event combines the world of cinema with live performances, providing an interactive and engaging atmosphere for film enthusiasts. Featuring a mix of screenings, panel discussions, and live performances, 'On Cinema Live' promises an unforgettable night of entertainment. Attendees can expect to be part of a vibrant community of movie lovers, with opportunities to meet filmmakers and actors, and participate in Q&A sessions. Whether you're a fan of indie films, blockbusters, or everything in between, this event offers something for everyone.

Twice a month! Please come prepared with your own supplies (yarn, thread, needles, etc.) Donations toward a “community craft basket” of yarn and tools for others to use are gratefully accepted. Because space is limited, registration is highly suggested.

This Sunday, it's basically brunch: come to the SCRAP Studio to create some incredible inedible breakfast-themed crafts! Make tiny fried eggs in pans from buttons & bits; make a pancake pin-cushion; make a waffle-shaped notebook; make a bacon hairpin. We've got ideas hot on the griddle. You can't miss the most important meal of the day... come to an egg-straordinary Crafternoon!

Join us for a creative evening at SCRAP Sunday Night Stitchin' 🪡, a gathering for crafters of all levels. This event offers a mask-friendly environment and is perfect for those interested in sewing and crafting. Tools and materials will be available for use, and while it's not a workshop, staff will be on hand to assist and share tips. Ages 16+ are welcome, with youth needing to be accompanied by an adult. Note that this event is not a workshop, but rather a community gathering to share ideas and create.
Bring your work and hot beverage of choice and join us for our monthly moderated critique group at Franklin FOTO. Whether you just made your first print in the darkroom or photography has been a lifelong pursuit, everyone can benefit from using the critique to gain perspective and strengthen the quality of their artistic practice. Moderated by Franklin FOTO volunteer Michele Thompson, Coffee & Critique is a constructive feedback group, held on the second Sunday of each month. Bring your digital or analog work and beverage of choice and join the discussion! We can look at printed work or you can mirror from your laptop or phone to a digital display. Coffee & Critique is free and open to all photographers at any level of experience. If you would like to be put on the Coffee & Critique mailing list, email manager@franklinfoto.org.
