Join our fun 4-session weaving workshop and create cool, handmade pieces from scratch together!
We offer you a series of 4 programs in Medford, Grants Pass, and Ashland, Oregon with choices of evening or matinee performances.
In person delivery. Class will be held May 7th through May 15th in Training Center A T-103. NEW curriculum 'Developing Thinking Sawyers'. There is 8-10 hours of Asynchronous work associated with this class.
*For alumni of HeartChange Workshop* HeartRecovery Training is a chance to begin your training to become a HeartRecovery Facilitator. In the process you will experience how God uses the tool in your life. Is the Lord calling you to serve in praying with people as the Lord heals their hearts? Jesus Christ came to heal the broken hearted, set the captives free and to give them the oil of joy in place of mourning. He restores relationship with our Father and with those around us. Heart Design is a workshop where you can experience the heart of Jesus as your Heavenly Bridegroom while discovering His unique design for you and deepening your intimacy with Him. Understand your personal motivational gifting, learn about preparing for the return of Christ, grow in freedom from temptation and sin, and gain support in connecting with other believers. Offered free of charge with an invitation to make a donation on the last day of the workshop.

This course provides an introduction to wildland fire behavior, wildland firefighting safety and wildland firefighting techniques. The course covers the basic skills necessary to fight wildland fires under close supervision. NWCG Courses completed in class include S-130, S-190, L-180, IS-100 and IS-700. Also includes the Work Capacity Test (WCT) which is needed for employment.
Specialized training for those who want to be involved in administering Cross-Connection control programs. Elements of a Cross-Connection control program, basic hydraulics, state specific regulations, identifying possible cross-connections and site surveys in order to determine proper type of backflow protection, if needed.
Assess basic fitness for arduous wildland firefighting work through administration of the Work Capacity Test (WCT). Students walk a 3 mile course on the campus track wearing a 45 pound pack (provided). In order to pass, students need to complete the walk within 45 minutes. A WCT course “PASS” card indicating the student name, test date, and administrators signature will be received if they pass.
