Learn more about yard waste and brush composting at the City of Midwest City's Compost Facility. This will be an in-person tour. Take an up close and personal look at how compost is made. Gaylord Pernell, Midwest City's Compost Supervisor, will be giving the tour and is ready to answer your questions. Attendees must have on closed toe shoes and long pants for the tour. If you do not have on the proper clothing and footwear, you will not be allowed on the tour. This event is one of the many events scheduled for International Compost Awareness week.
