Charity Events in Barberton

Come join us at the Winery at Wolf Creek for our Annual Goat Derby on Saturday, May 2nd. While we can't say that these nanny goats move at lightning speed or even in a straight line, each goat will be 'racing' for some great animal charities. There will be races throughout the day, costume contests, food trucks, and of course, derby-themed cocktails! Representatives from animal charities will be on hand to talk about their work and all of the great things they do for our four-legged friends. Guests can place donation 'bets' on their pick for the winning goat. Dress up in your best derby attire for a chance to win a costume contest for BEST DRESSED and BEST DERBY HAT, so be creative! Each winner receives a trophy and some quality time with the winning goat. Wine, Beer, and Signature Cocktails (mint juleps, obviously) will be served all day in the tasting room and the tent. Food Trucks and snacks will be available the day of as well! Tickets to the Goat Derby are free! We appreciate ticket registration to help with our planning purposes. Goat Derby VIP access tickets are also available! VIP tickets include exclusive red carpet entry into the Great Room for a private viewing area of races, a private bar, restrooms, and catered food.
