What's On in Riverhead

In celebration of Black History Month, a nonpartisan forum will explore the historical legacy and contemporary impact of the Black vote. The event will feature discussions by civic leaders, attorneys, and advocates on Black political participation and its impact on American democracy. Panelists include Frederick Brewington, Esq.; The Honorable Dr. Taylor Darling, Alyson Bass, Esq.; Phil Andrews; Colette Morgan, chairperson of the Brookhaven Women’s Caucus; Godson Michel, president of Blue Surge Marketing Agency; and Terry Wildrick, co-president of the League of Women Voters of the Hamptons, Shelter Island and the North Fork. The evening will also feature a special performance by reggae recording artist 'Winston Ire'. The forum is open to the public, and admission is free.
