Introduction / History to Zine Making then we make our own! Join us for an evening of zine-making with Zibby! In this two-hour session, we’ll start with an introduction to zine making and a brief history on this creative practice. Then we’ll learn a few simple folding techniques before we dive into making our own zines together. All materials are included, but you’re welcome, and encouraged! to bring any special items from home to incorporate into your final creation. We’ll provide plenty of paper, collage supplies, and drawing materials, but get ready to experiment with unexpected zine bases like matchboxes, old playing cards, receipts, gum wrappers, or anything else you can dream up. In zine making, there are no rules! Zibby is a long time zine-ster, writer, and art educator.
