Education Events in Northport

Create two adorable 8” Peep bunnies while building skills with Amanda of Creative Retreat. All materials included! Hop on in and join our in-residence crocheter, Amanda Farabaugh of Creative Retreat, who brings over 35 years of crochet experience to this fun, skill-building workshop. Right- and left-handed instruction is available, as Amanda is fluent in both. In this relaxed and supportive class, you’ll crochet an adorable Peep bunny measuring approximately 8” tall by 4.5” wide at the base. Each student will complete one bunny during class and receive enough materials to make a second bunny at home. During the workshop, you’ll also learn how to: Increase and decrease single crochet stitches Count stitches accurately Use stitch markers effectively Class sizes are intentionally small so you can work at your own pace and receive plenty of individual guidance. Amanda is known for her patience and supportive teaching style, ensuring everyone leaves confident in their new skills.
