What's On in North Salem

Join us on the third Thursday of each month for a hike on an Open Land preserve. Each month, we’ll visit a different NSOLF preserve, with locations changing throughout the season to highlight the hidden beauty, diverse landscapes, and conservation stories found across town. This month, participants will traverse just under a mile loop along the titicus river. Surrounded by a lush, shady canopy and accompanied by the peaceful sounds of babbling water, this serene trail is perfect for a quiet nature walk. A small parking lot is available at the intersection of Grant Road and Titicus Road, making access convenient for a short and refreshing visit. Whether you’re discovering a preserve for the first time or seeing a familiar trail in a new way, Third Thursday on the Trail is a simple, meaningful way to experience North Salem’s open spaces throughout the season.
