You will leave our Newborn Care workshop feeling knowledgeable and confident to care for your precious new baby! In our Newborn Care workshop you will step into a welcoming and judgment-free community of other new parents and learn all about the basics of newborn care. We will discuss the importance of skin-to-skin, normal newborn characteristics and behavior. We will also discuss newborn soothing techniques including infant massage, types of baby holds and swaddles, and babywearing. We will cover changing diapers, normal stool/wet diaper patterns and frequency. We will also cover baby skin care including, cord care, bathing and identifying common newborn skin characteristics.
