Let your kids unleash their creativity our FREE Inclusive Drawing & Painting Workshop! Drawing and Painting for Kids A 1.5-hour inclusive workshop for children will explore drawing and painting the local flora, fauna, and landscape surrounding the Erie Canal. A wonderful introduction to painting in quiet, inspiring spaces for artists to tap into their creative side. We will use sketching techniques that lead to the use of oil pastels, watercolors, and/or colored pencils. Students will be taught how to use basic shapes and shading, as well as a simple lesson on perspective, to create original works of art depicting the nature surrounding the canal. Each student will complete a beautiful, original piece of art to be taken home after the workshop. All abilities are welcome.
