A practical, secular, six-week in-person introductory course on mindfulness meditation. The program is designed for people who want simple, effective tools to work with stress, distraction, and the challenges of everyday life—no prior meditation experience required. You will learn the fundamentals of mindful attention and how to: Feel more present, grounded, and less overwhelmed by stress. Learn practical tools to step out of overthinking and worry. Develop a kinder, less judgmental relationship with your mind. Cultivate greater compassion toward yourself and others. Classes include guided meditations, short talks, mindful listening exercises, and practical tools you can apply immediately at home, at work, and in relationships. At Surya Sound Temple, the Deep Meditation Experience is a 60-minute immersive session designed for deep relaxation, inner reset, and sound-vibrational healing. It blends live soundscapes, guided meditation, and subtle movement or stillness; all in a small-group, intimate setting.
