Adventure Events in Los Alamos

Join us in the Los Alamos area for a fun early spring walk to find wild edible plants and learn about nature’s tasty secrets! During this walk we will introduce you to plant identification through families, mushroom identification, foraging tips, safety and wild harvesting ethics. We will find common edible and medicinal plants native to this region that are prevalent throughout the mountain west. We will also share information about nutrition, herbalism, mushrooms and wild water. Class will be followed with a wild snack!
